Day 192 - My Indonesian sister

Met up with Saskia for our christmas exchange lunch at Taste of Shangha.
Had fun catching up and its always refreshing to talk to someone who loves bags and all things fashion too :)

Day 190 - Post Xmas Culinary Night

Pete invited me to his annual post Christmas dinner where I met a great group of culinary enthusiasts whose skills are beyond amazing. I'm definitely going to follow their food blogs! The best dishes I've tasted by far are the Erica's cheese "mexican" salsa, Pete's liempo and the beef guerrero with the rice pilaf.

My tummy was in food coma heaven.

Day 189 - Boxing Day

It was a memorable Sydney Christmas indeed!

Here's how my day went :)

Woke up early to decorate cupcakes with Isobel :) I think I'm at par with a 4 year old dessert chef but its all good :)

At around 11am, we decided to play a little drinking game. A shot everytime someone swears in the movie, "Friends With Benefits" :)
Let's just say, not a good idea! Hahaha! By the time the guests came, we were knackered!

I was eating, swimming and playing mahjong the whole time :) I even forgot to take pictures! That's really rare! hahaha!

What a great christmas!

Day 188 - Christmas in Sydney

After Christmas Eve mass, I headed to my cousin's house. I got there just in time to have Noche Buena! We stayed up till 2am, talked to my parents in Korea and my sister in Manila. We're all apart but its okay :)

Food coma starts at midnight and commences the whole day! :)

Day 187 - Christmas Eve in Sydney

After our shift in Tiffany, Maeve and I did a little shopping (for my christmas present) and then we headed to St. Marys for mass and to watch the light show :)
Sydney is really beautiful and though I miss my family and friends, it was a great night with the whitest girl I know (Inside Joke) :) Yes, she calls me Asian all the time so we're even! :)

Day 183 - Happy birthday Silvia!

Silvia is such a good friend of mine and without her I wouldn't have met my awesome futsal team :)

We went to her birthday party in Cargo bar in Darling Harbour! I had a great time with two of my other teammates, Gun and Adam!

Day 181 - Power lunch

There's nothing like salmon sashimi and chicken fried rice to get me through a 10-hour shift! :)

Day 180 - Ramen Midnight Snack

I'm trying to make B as asian as she can get :) So we had ramen after our 10pm shift at work. She also tried the green tea mochi balls and loved it! :)

Day 179 - Hopia

If I don't facetime or speak to Hailey for more than 2 days, I get antsy. I miss her so much! She really looks like Dora now!

Day 178 - Scrambled Goodness

Day 177 - Lego for adults

Wow! I have 2 weeks of posts to make up. It's been a hectic christmas work month!

Craig and I had a shift together so we both set out to make the display for the Nano "lego" sets. He did the grand piano while I did the African Elephant. He finished it but I didn't. FAIL. I do not have the patience for it. But I still felt bad that I wasn't able to do it :(

Day 176 - First christmas gift

Had dinner with my good friend Ming tonight at a Japanese restaurant across my apartment :) Can't wait to go back and try more dishes. I was too hungry to take pictures :) We exchanged presents but we won't be opening it till Christmas! :)

Day 175 - Beer and Pool

After playing the last game of the year with the Rag Tags, Adam forced us to have drinks and play pool at a nearby pub before heading home. So we did. I beat Gun but lost to Adam! What a fun and spontaneous night!

Day 174 - Yumcha with the Marasigans

It was my cousin's birthday! :) We had yumcha at Phoenix Restaurant, arguably the best of its kind here :) Enough said. It was that good :)

Day 173 - Brekkie Flatmates Date

Third brunch in Pyrmont cafes and first one as a trio :)
