Day 163 - Flatmate Date

We decided to go for a breakfast brunch at least once a month to check out our new suburb :)
Despite the heavy rain, we braved the early morning chills to grab a yummy brunch 2 streets down from our apartment. La Hacienda Cafe :) Great brunch!

Day 162 - Stereosonic

My first music festival in Sydney and it was awesome!
My favorite acts were Benny Benassi, Afro Jack, Bag Raiders and of course, LMFAO!
I had so much fun because of the great company and great music.
This is one for the books!

Day 161 - Crazy for Chocolate

I love Max Brenner. My awesome flatmate always gives me yummy chocolates :)
Sea salt chocolate is the best.

Day 160 - Titanic

This ice cream was too much even for 5 people!

Day 158 - Australian Adventure

What a crazy weekend! I had 4 friends from all over Australia here for the weekend :) One from Melbourne, One from Brisbane and a couple from Canberra :) Thanks to my two awesome welcoming committee who went with me, the weekend was a blur of late nights and too much eating!

Day 157 - Piko?

What a nice weekend with my two main Sydney girls :) We hung out from Saturday to Monday :)

Day 156 - Let's Ride

Been so tired with exams, moving apartments, work and everything in between that I needed a break from the city. A short trip to wakeboard in Penrith with Mei, Erwin and Adam did the trick. Here's Erwin and I trying out the trampoline that wore us out after a few minutes of jumping. Lunch and dessert at Granville was awesome!

Day 154 - Angry Birds

My gosh, the phenomenon know as ANGRY BIRDS is now available in t-shirts :) I don't know what I love more ANGRY BIRDS or PLANTS VS ZOMBIES!

Day 153 - Helihat

Had lots of new arrivals at my job. Of course I had to try it on and take pictures HELIHATS with the peeps!

Day 152 - Girls night out

A spontaneous night with the Geroa girls. Also, the first people to really see our new apartment!
We had a yummy dinner followed by some late night walking around our new suburb.

Day 151 - Yummy chicken

This was so good. Enough said. I love having a simple chicken dish with a twist.

Day 150 - 2nd night

Luckily we're both organized. Even before we moved into our apartment, we already fixed our electric bills and WIFI installation. Everything was running smoothly. By then 2nd day we were exhausted after work (and school for me).
But we still managed to sit down for our first dinner (AT MIDNIGHT)

Day 149 - First Move In Night

We were so excited that we stayed up til around 3-4am that same night that we moved in. We carried all the IKEA boxes and furniture from the garage. And yes, Ana and I did our own beds and made the beautiful glass cabinet shelf from IKEA. We had to borrow tools from our neighbors. But it was fun. Watch the week unfold as we get ready to unveil our apartment! :)

Day 148 - Cebu Lechon and many more

Oh mi god. Puto. Lechon all the way from Cebu. Caldereta.

Only at Congen's house with all the other officers and staff from the Philippine Consulate in Sydney. It's only been my fourth Filipino dinner here. Oh gosh.

Day 147 - Cold and Fishy Night

The weather is getting a bit humid but at night its still a bit chilly. Had a spontaneous dinner and dessert date with Maeve after work in Sydney Westfield. Did the sushi train and had a gelato after :)

Day 146 - Kids in Ikea and High in Max Brenner

Buying awesome furniture with Kim and Ana (flatmate). Thanks to Erwin for having lunch with us and bringing us there. To cap off the great but tiring day, chocolate galore in Max Brenner again!

Day 144 - Thai with Jeromy

My flatmate, Jeromy always knows the best places to eat in :) I love thai food and hole-in-the-wall restaurants always makes it better :) Good value for great food!
